Your Right to Delete Your Data

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by FalcoChat. This page explains the options available to you and what happens when a deletion request is processed.

Option 1 — Delete your account from Settings

The fastest way to delete your data is directly within the Service:

  1. Sign in to your FalcoChat account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section and click Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This will immediately schedule your account, profile, and all associated chat history for permanent deletion. The deletion is completed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Submit a deletion request by email

If you are unable to access your account, or if you would like to request deletion of specific data rather than your full account, you can contact us via the contact page with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.

Please include in your message:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • A description of the data you would like deleted.

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verification.

What Data Is Deleted

When a full account deletion is processed, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your name, email address, and hashed password.
  • All chat conversations and message history.
  • Account preferences and settings.
  • Organisation memberships.

Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained after a deletion request where we are required to do so by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Billing records: transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial regulations.
  • Security logs: anonymised logs may be retained for fraud prevention and security purposes.
  • Backup data: data held in encrypted backups will be removed when those backups expire, typically within 30 days.

Stripe Payment Data

payment information is held by Stripe, not by FalcoChat. To request deletion of payment records held by Stripe, please refer to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
